What did the most voters identify as the most important issue in yesterday's election? It was moral values (22%) -- more than the economy (20%), terrorism (19%), or Iraq (15%).
The only surprising thing about this fact is that so many find it surprising. Many in the media were shocked -- shocked -- to discover that citizens vote for candidates who share and will express and implement their values.
